How do you link a pic?

Okay this is not like my other sites need help. How do I link a url onto the image so I am only seeing the image and then can be clicked to the source?
Like the avatars using them as the image and linking the url so anyone can click the pic to go straight into the location of the avie.

Remove both sets of ***; and replace with your links!
