Here are a few scenic pictures from our vacation in Northern Michigan. I'm taking the pictures with a friends digital camera so it's all new to me!  This is a beach area we visited. The sun reflecting off the water gives it a greenish cast but actually it's really quite blue  The boys swimming. As you can see the water is very shallow so the sunshines right to the bottom making it that color  If you look out to where the water gets deeper and the sun doesn't shine through it, you see it's really blue  Ahhh, the sunsets   The end of another beautiful day! Real nice pics Victoria!! That sure looks like a good place to go swimming. The waters clear, not to crowded and lots of shade trees. Sunsets are beautiful aren't they!

Real nice pics Victoria!! That sure looks like a good place to go swimming. The waters clear, not to crowded and lots of shade trees. Sunsets are beautiful aren't they! Thanks Murf! It's really a nice place because they have so many things available. Volleyball, horseshoes, and other games. The beach area is always clean and has loungers or chairs for people. The water is shallow for a ways out for the small kids, but gets deeper for the older kids. It has plenty of shade trees so you don't have to be in the sun if you don't want to. It's just an over all great place. It is a private beach, but well worth the cost for the outstanding set up. They have gas grills you can use, a nice picnic area, just everything all in one place. No lugging lawn chairs or dealing with funky bathrooms and changing areas. It's very clean and very well maintained.  |

Thanks Jane. It was the first time I used my friends digital camera so I was pretty happy they turned out well. I generally seem to have a talent for moving the camera while I'm pushing the button to take the picture!  |

Great pictures. Looks like a wonderful place for a vacation. Is the water warm? Thanks! It was very nice. It was very hot too! The water was warm until you got out a bit into the deep water. It was so hot it was really great to be able to swim and cool off. I think it was 95 degrees that day! It was so hot I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both walking! I'm hoping Jane will throw some neggs at me for that remark! |
