Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for my long-awaited 2week vacation: hope to work up a tan without becoming a lobster Please enjoy yourself and have a nice time!

Good for you GMscriptwriter. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, and you'll come home all tan and refreshed! I'm half Swedish so tanning is not something I do well! I get a pinkish tan which looks like someone who got a little burned but it will turn to tan. The tan just never comes, I stay pinkish tan! I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks tomorrow too! We were supposed to leave today, but since we're going to the cottage it's not a problem to go tomorrow instead. It's only about a 3 1/2 hour drive from home. Have fun, be safe and we'll talk to you when you get back. Unless of course you take a laptop along!

I'm back, and nope, I didn't take a laptop with me. I even kept the cellphone off for about 22 hours per day, LOL... I got slightly burnt only twice, and in not-so-sensitive places. Methinks that using a fp20 cream has been a good choice for someone that went to the beach only in afternoons (2pm-6pm) and then stays put in the big umbrella's shadow -- the exact opposite of a cat (I'm a southern-european but my skin color is usually a pale one -- one of my mom's gifts) Thank to you all for your warm messages I'm thinking that what really counts in a vacation is not the place where you spend it, nor the people you spend it with, and not even what you do in these days, but the ability to close the mental drawer containing all things pertaining to work, put the drawer in a strongbox, then put a heavy rock over it and leave it very shut up until the morning of your coming back to work See ya soon, I'll have to get braced for going back to work tomorrow *sigh*
