Already! Wow, I hadn't even thought about it yet!
Think I'll search Fargo for the best place to see some good fireworks. the weather here is fantastic, unlike the sweltering Florida heat I am used to, so that might be fun.

We go to a family members house & swim, cookout, etc. & then at dusk we head over to my husbands bosses house on the water & watch the fireworks display a local company puts on. These pics arnt the best but this is where we go for fireworks. Those are my kiddos with a family friend.

Total change of plans today!! We ended up driving to S.Dakota (about an hour south of here) and spent a marvelous day at a casino! Geographically the casino is in North Dakota, but apparently the Sioux reservation extends over the state line, as there are NO casinos anywhere else here in ND.
It was great fun. I came out -$15 on the whole day, which I am just fine with! Now, waiting for the fairgrounds to start their fireworks show, which I am told I can view from my 3rd floor suite here in the motel we currently live in. Won't be dark here till 10:30 pm my time (central), much different than living in the southeast US, lol!

Wow! I didn't know that the time it got dark changed so drastically between North & South. It gets dark at about 8:30 p.m. here in Northern California.
We're going to see the fireworks that are city does every year. Then we're going to the next town south of ours to set off fireworks. It's the only city left in our entire county that allows fireworks. Kids love to do the sparklers.

Yeah lulu, it amazed me as well. Granted it is central time zone but even comparing that, it's light 2 hours longer than I was used to in Florida. And sun rises earlier too. Kinda like a preview to what Alaska must get like, lol! It still freaks me out.
