WOW! that's brilliant! i wont ride in a salt water car though not until it's been beta tested for a long period of time.

So what's taking them so long? Why don't they just tell us if we can use it or not? I'm sick of paying almost 3 bucks a gallon for gas!

That is the answer rani. Oil companies have a deadlock on the industry. It's politics, and it's big business. Will take forever to unlock that goliath industry.

i thought of that too, that's how i remembered them,
i also thought of the beta testing they have to go through with vehicles for several weeks straight, to make sure it can actually go well, they dont want people to be stranded in the middle of nowhere someday just because of their saltwater combustion engine malfunctioning,
my guessing would be,, it'll take around 6 month - 1 year to sell the plans to a company, 2 years to get it in a vehicle, 2 other years to staighten things up, 2 more years for testing, 1 more year to fix the bugs, 1 year sales preparation,,
total of 8 years, give or take several years

With the problems of politics we can't do much.Even though salt water is the best fuel it would be better if just a little bit will keep the car going for a long time.Really even if its abounded we all got to be careful. You never know what you might lose with it all.
