GMscriptwriter...Cats like to do things when they want, don't they! Very independent! My friends cat will come running when he hears the can opener working, but not when she calls him. Very smart animals! About Michael Moore, how do I say this nicely...he is an idiot! That is not nice to say, but it is sadly the truth! He has made a lot of money by spreading lies! As you know there are 2 sides to every story. He tells one side, but with mostly lies. The unions caused a lot of problems for the workers. Michael never talks about that! I think the name of the movie was "Looking for Roger Smith." I'm surprised the movie came all the way to where you are! For some reason I get the feeling you don't like Multi-national companies. Maybe because you'd rather slice your throat than work for one! That would be very nice if you could list the links that change the language on Neopets. Thanks!

I'm surprised the movie came all the way to where you are! That's the name! About unions, I honestly don't know an iota about US ones, but in most parts of Europe unions are actually useful to workers, especially when some coherent group action is needed against misbehaving boss/companies. Personally I hate it when some rolex-wearing moron clad in tailor-made clothes rants against unions composed by walmart-wearing people asking for a VERY small raise (around ~100 € ... PER YEAR), callin'em all "slackers". Sorry, I think I'm going slightly off-topic That would be very nice if you could list the links that change the language on Neopets. Thanks! Right now I cannot, as with that dang neopets site being down, the work calling me and a local holiday coming up this friday... As soon as I'll be back from the small 3day trip I'll poke my nose in the logs

PER YEAR), callin'em all "slackers" Unions were a great thing when they first came into existence, but like with all things given power...power corrupts! It was more like a mafia organization in the later years. The rank and file has dwindled now so it's not as powerful anymore. I think as far as the car industry goes unions are obsolete. Japan kicked the American Automotive company's rear by making a better car for less money without unions! The bottom fell out for the American car makers and Michael Moore made a movie...which I need to correct....the movie is Roger and Me. It was made in 1989. The unions had such power over the big 3 at the time (GM, Ford, and Chrysler) that the workers took advantage and would go sleep somewhere instead of building cars. The work they did was often shoddy and the cars reflected the poor workmanship. Japan continued to take over the automotive market. I think the truth is that both the car companies in their arrogance of being the biggest auto makers, and the workers wanting too much money and too many benefits while doing too little work, caused the whole thing to finally blow up around all of them. Right now I cannot, as with that dang neopets site being down, the work calling me and a local holiday coming up this friday...As soon as I'll be back from the small 3 day trip I'll poke my nose in the logs Have a nice trip! If and when you have time to checkout the foreign language links...is fine! Thanks!

Unions were a great thing when they first came into existence, but like with all things given power...power corrupts! Yeah, here we have SOME unions that tend to forget their members' well-being and agree on unfavorable collective contracts just to get rid of the hassle and go back to enjoy the small privileges of being an union representative. But not all unions are like that. And an old Italian politician once said that "power corrupts, especially those who haven't yet got it". Japan kicked the American Automotive company's rear by making a better car for less money without unionsThe japan is a wildly different place from europe or US, not only culturally but also in their way of life and their work ethics. Japanese workers have unions, but don't always need them, as their ethos is something along the lines of "devotion to their company at all costs". Besides, in japan almost all main companies catered quite well for their workers (health plans, retirement plans and only fringe/marginal jobs tend to be underpaid, even more if the worker isn't japanese or gaijin). Now, I don't know very much as my informations on japan culture are patchy and not always up to date. So not all unions are bad, and not all unions are always useless. One has to keep in mind the social context these unions are working in. For the links, I'll be coming up with these after lunch.

well i think i should have introduce myself from the beginning but i'm still exploring the site. i'm from portugal and i love neopets. but i really like my 2 cats kinho and farruska their names. farrauska is the eldest and she is a female. kinho a male has now 5 years and still only wants to play with me cause farruska don't like him a lot and eat lool. they are everything for me and kinho is always waiting for me when i come from work, i'm a public officer (i think is the proper name) in the informatic area. my holidays are finished, here is summer now, but i'll come here everyday cause is much more peaceful then neopets foruns and because i have all acess to neopets now from my work place. kiss 4 everybody
